I mentioned in my last post that I was spending Saturday visiting Lymington and going to garden centres for my Mum's birthday. It was a lovely day, as always, with a yummy cooked breakfast at The Angel Inn (supposedly the most haunted inn in the UK!) and a cheeky chinese for dinner. I hadn't planned to spend anything but that's what always seems to happen; I see lots of things I want! Anyway, it happened to be payday so I treated myself to a few bits.
I got these polka dot jeans and the lacy top from New Look. I hadn't bought anything from there for ages but we popped in to have a nose anyway. They've got 25% off jeans at the moment which brought these to under £20! I love them, and they're a subtle enough pattern that I think these will go with pretty much anything. The top is a gorgeous floral lace and the back is buttoned all the way to the top. It would definitely need a white camisole or white bra underneath though because it is see-through!
And finally, my favourite find of the day. Years ago I was looking for a really nice brown coat, but because it wasn't 'in' at the time, absolutely none of the shops I looked in were selling one! I ended up going for a nice burgundy colour and promptly forgot about my mission for the brown coat. Anyway, as if by chance I spotted this on the rail, tried it on and it was love at first site! It has a vintage nod to it I think, and I love the herringbone pattern. It's slightly darker in real life than the photo but it's lovely and thick. It's a little big, but I always size up in coats and besides, I needed the bigger coat so I could have the correct sleeve length! I found it in a shop I would never personally look in (but my Mum and Grandma love!), Edinburgh Woollen Mill! They actually have some really nice things in there but you do have to look past some of the things that are definitely aimed at the older generation! I put aside a lovely turquoise knit jumper for my birthday plus they have a sale on at the moment! I nabbed this coat at half price, reduced from £80 to £40. Very pleased with all my purchases, I think one of those very rare outfit posts might be coming on to the blog soon! xo

Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing
ReplyDeleteto be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while
people consider worries that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
